The sky, with all its celestial bodies, clouds, rainbows and rains, is an integral and constant background of our lives. It is not only above us, it is around us, and on the other side of the Earth too. In a sense, we live in heaven. Whether I want it or not, heaven powerfully invades my poems; it is in my head and in my heart. In the sky, as in a mirror, we see ourselves. The sky calls you to fly. The sun and the stars of the sky hint to us about the presence of God. The collection includes poems from the first 25 “Belogorsk cycles” (2010 – 2017), which in one way or another mention the sky.
