“The Pushkin Volume” was written throughout Andrei Bitov’s entire career and consists of three parts. The first is “Subtraction of the hare. 1825" - represents the same story (anecdote) from the life of Alexander Sergeevich, presented in seven genres available to the author. The second is “Following Mania” - imaginary dialogues of the poet with his contemporaries. The third - “Prayer for the Cup” - a triptych about the last year of the poet’s life. The appendix is the “Lexicon”, consisting of essay variations along the entire outline of Pushkin’s path.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. «Пушкінський том» – це справжня знахідка для всіх шанувальників поезії та літератури. Андрій Бітов майстерно поєднує різні жанри, створюючи багатогранний портрет великого поета. Перша частина, «Віднімання зайця. 1825», вражає своєю креативністю, адже автор вміло грає з формами, показуючи, як одна і та ж історія може бути переосмислена в різних жанрах. Друга частина, «Манія послідування», відкриває нові горизонти, пропонуючи уявні діалоги Пушкіна з його сучасниками, що дозволяє читачеві глибше зрозуміти контекст епохи. Третя частина, «Моління про чашу», є зворушливим триптихом, що передає емоції останнього року життя поета.
