The publication is the first Russian translation of the most important work of the famous American literary critic Paul de Man (1919-1983), in which the foundations of his rhetoric are presented in connection with the interpretations of the literary and philosophical works of Rousseau, Nietzsche, Proust and Rilke.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
