Автор майстерно описує пошуки князя Голіцина, який намагається знайти талановитого скульптора для створення пам'ятника Петру Великому. Особливо вразила динаміка між Етьєном Морісом Фальконе та його ученицею Марі-Анн Колло, адже їхня взаємодія наповнена емоціями, амбіціями та творчими пошуками. Читач відчуває атмосферу Парижа та Петербурга, а також переживає разом з героями всі труднощі та радощі їхньої подорожі. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючою історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує мистецтво, історію та сильні жіночі персонажі!
