Vikenty Veresaev considered “Living Life” one of the most expensive works in his work. The first part - “About Dostoevsky and Leo Tolstoy” - was published in 1910, the second - “Apollo and Dionysus” - in 1914. At that time, they caused great controversy. In the midst of the reaction that gripped Russian society, Veresaev resolutely opposed pessimism, Nietzscheanism and decadence, against the cult of the animal instinct in man, chanting the bright beginnings of life. The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Книга «Живе життя» Вікентія Вересаєва — це справжня перлина, яка відкриває перед читачем глибини людської природи та творчості. Автор вміло поєднує аналіз творчості великих письменників, таких як Достоєвський і Толстой, з власними роздумами про сенс життя, мистецтво та його вплив на людину. Перша частина книги, присвячена Достоєвському і Толстому, вражає своєю глибиною і проникливістю, адже Вересаєв не просто описує їхні твори, а намагається зрозуміти, як їхня творчість відображає людську сутність. Друга частина, «Аполлон і Діоніс», пропонує цікаву дискусію про протилежності в мистецтві та житті, що робить цю книгу ще більш актуальною. Хоча переклад тексту за допомогою штучного інтелекту іноді має недоліки, загалом це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною думок автора.
