Zazi on the Metro is one of the most famous novels of French literature of the 20th century. It was translated into many languages and filmed by French director Louis Malle (Palme d'Or, 1972). The plot is simple - a description of one day and two nights spent by a young provincial girl in Paris. Capricious Zazie doesn't care at all about the sights of Paris, and her only desire is to ride the metro, but, alas, the subway workers are on strike. Here everything is turned inside out - Uncle Gabriel is not quite an uncle, Aunt Marcelina is not an aunt at all, the dark personality of Pedro Surplus finds himself in As a result, Harun al-Rashid, and the widow Avot'ya and the policeman Hvatzazad catch the guides on the streets of the city.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
