This collection includes the historical memoirs of Count B. H. Minich, a Russian statesman and military leader; memoirs of his son Ernst Minich, letters from Lady Rondo - the wife of an English diplomat who lived in Russia for several years, memoirs of N. B. Dolgorukaya - daughter of Field Marshal B. P. Sheremetyev, memoirs of M. V. Danilov - an artillery major, dating back to the era of the palace coups of 1720–1760. Most of them have been translated and published for the first time. Preparation of the text, introductory article, comments by Evgeniy Viktorovich Anisimov.
