The book is dedicated to the tragic life story of the ruler of Russia Anna Leopoldovna and the Russian Emperor Ivan VI (John Antonovich), forgotten and destroyed in a whirlwind of palace intrigues and bloody coups. Remaining at the top of a powerful empire, they were private people, unable to defend themselves in the wolf pack of politicians, for which they paid with freedom and, ultimately, with their lives.
