Конфлікт між його холоднокровністю та бажанням захистити невинних дітей від неминучої смерті створює напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Автор майстерно передає емоції та переживання персонажів, а сюжет розвивається так динамічно, що важко відірватися від читання. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які не заважають загальному сприйняттю, ця книга залишила у мене глибокий слід. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує не лише захоплюючі пригоди, а й глибокі моральні питання!
