The battleship "Slava", the last ship in the series of Borodino-class battleships, actively participated in operations in the Baltic during the First World War and died heroically in 1917 during the Moonsund operation. In peacetime, he also took on many long voyages and glorious deeds, one of which was participation in the rescue of residents of the Italian city of Messina who suffered from a devastating earthquake in 1908. The collection offered to the reader includes memoirs and articles dedicated to various pages of the history of the famous ship . Many of them were published in exile, and some, preserved in the archives, are being published for the first time.
