This is what the wonderful novel by the young American Joshua Ferris tells about, which another American, the well-known Stephen King, compared to Joseph Heller’s “Catch-22” in terms of the absurdity of the situations, and he was absolutely right.

Цей роман Джошуа Ферріса - справжня знахідка для тих, хто любить нестандартні сюжети та іронічний погляд на реальність. У ньому чудово поєднуються елементи комедії та драми, а також глибокі філософські роздуми про життя в умовах сучасного суспільства. Ситуації, які трапляються з героями, настільки абсурдні, що викликають сміх, але водночас змушують задуматися про серйозні проблеми, з якими стикаються люди в бізнес-середовищі. Стиль письма автора динамічний і захоплюючий, а персонажі настільки колоритні, що їх важко забути. Хоча переклад іноді має недоліки, загальна якість тексту не псує враження від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче відволіктися від буденності та поринути у світ абсурду і гумору!
