This project was born in the magazine “New Youth” and continued in “Questions of Literature”. A variety of authors were suddenly united by one thing - the search for a criterion of quality. What is real literature? Why do we read at all? Controversy is a magnifying glass through which we observe time. “As we read is an attempt to rehabilitate good literary taste, which is truly developed only by reading world classics. The attempt is heroic, which is why it is attractive. A laconic and effective book, which contains essays by famous authors about reading practices in the modern world. The publishing layout of the book is preserved in PDF A4 format.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
