Дісмас Харді, колишній поліцейський, стає справжнім детективом у світі, де все не так просто, як здається на перший погляд. Його розслідування самогубства швагра друга Мозеса Макгуайра відкриває завісу на темні справи, пов'язані з наркотиками, і занурює читача в небезпечний світ, де кожен крок може стати останнім. Якість перекладу, хоч і має деякі недоліки, не заважає загальному сприйняттю книги. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги, а кожна нова деталь розслідування тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Рекомендую цю книгу всім любителям детективів і тих, хто цінує добре написані історії з несподіваними поворотами!
