Along with several works by Burns and Fergusson, this book presents to the Russian reader mainly previously unknown examples of classical Scottish literature, created over four centuries by a variety of authors: from the crowned Stuarts and the noble Montgomery to the outstanding ornithologist, artist and the most talented poet Alexander Wilson, born into the family of an illiterate distiller.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
