Eva, the wife of a prominent businessman and famous philatelist Sammy Sterling, is kidnapped. Книга "Марки королеви Вікторії" вразила мене своїм інтригуючим сюжетом і майстерно прописаними персонажами. Історія про викрадення Єви Стерлінг та навколишні події навколо безцінної марки "Чорна Шалонська головка" тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Автор вдало поєднує елементи детективу та психологічної драми, змушуючи читача сумніватися в мотивах кожного персонажа. Особливо сподобалася динаміка між детективом Кеті Колла та її наставником Девідом Броком, їхні взаємини додають глибини до сюжету. Хоча переклад іноді містить незначні недоліки, загальна якість тексту не заважає насолоджуватися читанням. Рекомендую цю книгу всім любителям детективів і тих, хто цінує складні сюжети з несподіваними розв'язками!
