Автор, Уїнстон Грем, майстерно переплітає емоційні переживання головного героя з історичними подіями, створюючи захоплюючу атмосферу Корнуолла. Я з великим інтересом слідкувала за долею Росса, його боротьбою за відновлення свого маєтку та особистого життя після важких втрат. Кожен персонаж у книзі має свою унікальну історію, що робить їх живими та реалістичними. Яскраві описи природи, соціальних проблем того часу та внутрішніх переживань героїв дозволяють повністю зануритися в сюжет. Хоча переклад не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися цим шедевром. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить глибокі емоційні історії про кохання, втрати та відновлення!
