Роман "Смерть за склом" Бена Елтона - це не просто детектив, а справжня соціальна сатира, що влучно відображає реалії нашого часу. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера з критичним поглядом на телешоу, які маніпулюють свідомістю глядачів. Ідея про те, що учасники шоу постійно під наглядом, створює напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Елтон вміло грає з жанрами, додаючи елементи детективу в стилі Агати Крісті, що робить сюжет ще більш інтригуючим. Хоча переклад книги має деякі недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Рекомендую всім, хто любить розумні, іронічні та захоплюючі історії про сучасний світ медіа!
