This work is a poetic exploration of the historical events that occurred on August 18-21, 1991 at the end of the USSR and known as the August Putsch. The presented text cannot claim to be historic, although it contains key facts and incidents. What led to this confrontation? Who was a participant in the State Emergency Committee? Who opposed them? What goals did both sides pursue? Has anyone set their goal to save the country and people from the approaching tragedy?
