Fourteen years ago, surgeon David Woodruff made a terrible medical mistake. And although the commission of inquiry acquitted him, Dr. Woodruff decided to change jobs, escaping from the pangs of conscience, and for a while he went to a God-forsaken corner in northern Canada. Відкриття про близнюків стає каталізатором для нових випробувань, які змушують Давида переосмислити своє минуле та прийняти непрості рішення. Читання цієї книги стало для мене не лише розвагою, а й можливістю замислитися над темами відповідальності, батьківства та пошуку правди. Хоча переклад тексту місцями може бути не зовсім ідеальним, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючим сюжетом та глибокими персонажами. Рекомендую всім, хто любить емоційні та напружені історії!
