The writing talent and civic courage of Alexander Kazbegi were especially clearly manifested in his creative activity in the 80s of the 19th century. In his novels and stories, the inner world of the heroes, their feelings and experiences are conveyed with great artistic power. The novel “The Patricide” was the favorite book of Joseph Dzhugashvili, who took the party pseudonym Koba after one of the heroes - a noble and brave robber.
