Paul Tillich (1885–1965) was a German-American Christian thinker, theologian, and cultural philosopher. The main problems of Tillich’s work are Christianity and culture, the place of Christianity in modern culture and human spiritual experience, the fate of European humanity in the light of the Gospel Good News. These problems are considered in terms of ontology and anthropology, cultural studies and philosophy of history, Christology and biblical hermeneutics. Tillich turns to theology, or theology of culture, in all of his works - from his first public appearance at the Berlin Kant Society in 1919 to one of his last works (Theology of Culture, 1959). The volume includes the most significant works: “The Courage to Be”, “Love, Strength and Justice”, “Shaking the Foundations”. The publishing layout is saved in a4.pdf format.
