In the second book of the seventh volume, various Yesenin materials are published. A significant part of them is published for the first time. The book opens with the “Additions” section. Among his materials, several poems and letters were introduced for the first time into the poet’s collected works, and also (based on newly discovered sources) versions of a number of works placed in volumes 1–4 of the collection were given. “By the Hand of Yesenin” is the second section of the book. This included rough sketches and other creative materials, individual notes, lists of publications, plans for author’s collections, owner’s inscriptions on books, etc. The third section is “Business Papers.” It consists of three subsections: author's documents, collective documents, Yesenin's signatures on documents. The last section of the book contains the texts of posters and evening programs where Yesenin’s performances were announced. The poet himself took part in the compilation of some of them. More detailed characteristics of the sections are revealed in the comments to each of them. Bio-bibliographic material (including the section “S. A. Yesenin in photographs”) and indexes to the entire publication as a whole are included in the final - third - book of the seventh volume.
