Марта Таро майстерно створює атмосферу таємниці, занурюючи читача в події 1811 року, де кожен персонаж має свою таємницю, а кожна деталь може стати ключем до розгадки. Сюжет сповнений напруги та несподіваних поворотів, що тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вражає глибина персонажів, адже їхні мотиви не завжди очевидні – жадібність, помста чи кохання? Книга не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про людські вади та їх наслідки. Єдине, що трохи псує враження – це деякі недоліки в перекладі, але вони незначні і не заважають насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую всім, хто любить інтригуючі сюжети та складні людські стосунки!
