Lack of cognitive abilities, disinterest in politics and voluntary dependence on the all-powerful state prevent people from actively and productively participating in public life. Such attitudes towards the political maturity of citizens are quite widespread. That is why public participation in political processes is still limited to finding out people’s point of view through elections, public opinion polls or using social media.
