Історія Меєр Логан, яка намагається розгадати таємниці свого минулого, захоплює з перших сторінок. Її пошуки "флейти пам'яті" в Відні, сповнені небезпек і загадок, тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Музика, яка супроводжує її подорож, стає символом її боротьби за самопізнання, і це дуже вражає. Хоча переклад книги має деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибоким змістом та емоційною напругою.
