They will see and laugh. But it turns out that when you have someone to care about, life changes. And not just yours - the whole family. The story “A few shots for grandfather” is about this. Maria Boteva is a journalist, author of stories, poems, fairy tales, and plays. She became a laureate of the Triumph Youth Prize (2005) and a finalist for the National Children's Literary Award “Treasured Dream” (2005–2006). Her works were also included in the short list of the Debut Prize in the category “Large Prose” (2005). The collection of stories “Ice cream in waffle cups” was published by the KompasGid publishing house in 2013, after which it was awarded several significant literary awards: the All-Russian competition for the best literary work for children and youth “Kniguru”, the International Literary Prize named after.
