The book is devoted to the analysis of interactions between the spheres of politics and economics. Based on a detailed study of the basic concepts of economic and political theories, the author introduces the idea of polyarchy - a system of coordinated plurality of power, variants of which are almost all modern democratic states. The comparison of polyarchy with authoritarian regimes made it possible to clearly show in the book the fundamental importance of establishing a systematic dialogue between government and business to achieve sustainable economic development of the country. Despite the fact that the monograph is a study in the field of theoretical political science, it is rich in specific material, is easy to read and will be useful to everyone who are interested in independently understanding the complex processes that are taking place today in Russia and other post-communist countries.

Книга "Політика та ринки" є вражаючим дослідженням взаємодії між політичними та економічними сферами. Автор майстерно розкриває концепцію поліархії, що дозволяє читачеві зрозуміти, як багатовладдя може впливати на розвиток демократичних держав. Особливо вражає зіставлення поліархії з авторитарними режимами, яке підкреслює важливість діалогу між владою та бізнесом для забезпечення сталого економічного зростання. Книга насичена теоретичними концепціями, які легко сприймаються, навіть якщо ви не є експертом у цій галузі. Хоча переклад тексту не завжди ідеальний, загальна якість та зміст книги компенсують ці недоліки.
