"Srimad Bhagavatam" is an epic, philosophical and literary work of Indian classics, occupies a special place among other works that make up the multi-volume heritage of ancient Indian wisdom. This eternal wisdom of India is contained in the Vedas - ancient Sanskrit texts covering all areas of human knowledge. The second canto talks about the secondary cosmic creation. The various planetary systems are described here as parts of the universal body of the Lord, and therefore the Second Canto may be entitled "Cosmic Manifestation." It consists of ten chapters, which deal with the purpose of Srimad-Bhagavatam and various aspects of this purpose. The book is published with the original Sanskrit texts, Russian transliteration, word-by-word translation, literary translation and commentaries.
