“You and I” is a book about love. In form, it represents a dialogue between its two heroes: the writer Mikhail Prishvin and Valeria Dmitrievna Lebedeva (née Liorko), whom Prishvin met at the end of his life and who became his wife. This meeting was reflected in the writer’s “Diary” for 1940 , which served as the basis for this book.
