In the very middle of the 90s of the last century, life took on strange shapes, a transit of eras occurred, and the inhabitants mastered the changes with varying degrees of success. Katya Malysheva settled into the transition stage in three different ways. Firstly, she continued to serve at the Fakel publishing house, although there was almost no work or money there. Secondly, I edited not-quite-fiction in private offices, where there was enough of both to exist for life. And thirdly, Katya became a companion to her old friend Valentin at the Argus agency. Valentin was engaged in private investigation, and Katya solved family and personal problems for a wide range of women dissatisfied with their lives.
