A political detective story by Adam Hall (b. 1920, pseudonym of Elleston Trevor) “The Quiller Memorandum” (1966) describes the events taking place in Berlin in the 60s. The hero of the novel, intelligence officer Quiller, according to legend, is a Red Cross employee who is looking for relatives of refugees who died in England. But his true mission (formulated in the “memorandum” handed to him) is to track down and destroy the Nazi criminal Geyrich Zossen.
The novel was awarded a prestigious literary prize, translated into 18 languages, and filmed.
