In this book, the famous critic and literary critic Benedikt Sarnov appears in an unusual genre for him. The book presents a motley mixture of short “true stories” - funny, sad, and sometimes tragic. Я був вражений, як автор, використовуючи прості, але влучні слова, зміг передати атмосферу минулої епохи, зобразивши людей і події, які залишили слід у його пам'яті. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, безумовно, відчуваються, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовими оповідями.
