The seventeenth issue of the annual “Duel” includes the political detective story “Naked in the Wind” by Valentin Mashkin, the story “A Man in an Empty Apartment” by Anatoly Romov about the search for a stolen collection of antique coins and other action-packed novels and stories. The story is published in the “Duel” anthology “Sliver”, written by Vladimir Zazubrin, a writer of tragic fate, many of whose works have not yet seen the light of day. The foreign detective story is represented by the novel “In the Network” by the American writer Patrick Quentin.
