Автор майстерно передає атмосферу Пітера дев’яностих, з усіма його проблемами, викликами та небезпеками. Читач відчуває, як головний герой поступово занурюється у кримінальний світ, де кожен крок може бути останнім. Паралельно з цим, книга порушує важливі питання про людські стосунки, самотність і пошук себе в умовах хаосу. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючим сюжетом і глибокими переживаннями персонажів.
