The hero of the book belongs to the generation of “janitors and watchmen.” He is in his early thirties. He is an Orthodox neophyte and a fighter for the rights of Russians in Ukraine. However, disappointments and failures follow on his heels. But with them comes some “clarification of the mind.” The story is based on real events, real Russian Orthodox patriots, monarchists, monks, priests, liberals, former rockers and other residents of the South of Ukraine. Time period: early and mid-2000s.
