The heroes of the novel are Orthodox people, who, by the will of fate, find themselves on the other side of the world, among gnomes and guards. And it’s all because of the anomalous zone of Brahma, the gateway to other worlds. It all begins with the disappearance of a priest-monk without a trace in one of the remote steppe villages of the anomalous zone. Another priest, Father Ivan, goes in search of the missing hieromonk, along with his friend Dmitry. The main characters will have to go with the Captain through Brahma, get acquainted with the “trees” - the guardians and together with them stop the warlike hieromonk and his “Orthodox” gnomes, as well as to make a journey to the Source. And all this for the sake of the future alliance between the guards and people.
