The action of Nikolai Svechin’s novel “The Ural Echo” takes place in the summer of 1913: a detective police supervisor went missing in St. Petersburg. But they did not at all expect that they themselves would be drawn into a criminal whirlpool...

Роман "Уральська луна" Миколи Свечина - це справжня перлина для любителів детективного жанру. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу Петербурга 1913 року, де кожен крок героїв супроводжується напругою та загадками. Сюжет, що обертається навколо зникнення наглядача поліції та кримінальних інтриг, тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вражає розвиток персонажів, таких як Ликов та його помічник Азвестопуло, які проходять через численні випробування, розкриваючи не лише злочини, а й власні моральні дилеми. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючою історією.
