"Останній Дон" - це захоплююча історія, яка занурює читача в світ мафії, де влада, гроші і любов переплітаються в складний клубок подій. Маріо Пузо знову демонструє свій талант у створенні яскравих персонажів та напруженого сюжету. Книга починається з інтригуючого прологу, де дон спостерігає за подвійним хрещенням, що задає тон всій історії. Персонажі Данте та Кросс втілюють різні аспекти людської природи, і їхні шляхи переплітаються в драматичних ситуаціях. Особливо вразила любовна лінія між Кроссом і Афіною, яка показує, як почуття можуть стати на заваді в світі, де панують безжальні правила. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загальне враження від книги залишається позитивним. Рекомендую всім, хто любить захоплюючі історії про мафію та людські слабкості!
