“Electricity to the holiday village is provided centrally. Electric energy is supplied to an apartment and individual house in a city or rural area, a villa or a country house at a rated voltage of 220 V through the outgoing lines of the distribution network, which originate at a transformer substation (TS). Electricity is supplied to transformer substations in most cases with three-phase current through three-wire high-voltage lines at a voltage of 6 to 35 kV, and is discharged through three-phase four-wire lines: three wires are phase, the fourth is zero or neutral. In cities, lines are laid with cables in the ground, in rural areas - with overhead lines (OL). In this case, bare wires are mounted on porcelain or glass insulators mounted on wooden, reinforced concrete or metal supports. In four-wire electrical networks, the neutral wire must be grounded. Grounding is constructed at the TP. In addition, every 100–200 m along the route of outgoing overhead lines and at the end supports, the neutral wire is re-grounded…”Every owner of a summer cottage dreams of turning it into a piece of paradise. And this can only be done by answering all the numerous questions that arise when implementing a development project. How to arrange an alpine slide, a swimming pool with a cascade, a lawn with green vases on the site? Where and how to properly lay paths, make ramps, stairs? What material can be used for this? And in general, where to start? Brochures from the “Building a Dacha” series will help you find answers to these and many other questions.
