Катерина Падрон, проживши більше тринадцяти років у Японії, дійсно розкриває країну з усіх боків, показуючи не лише її красу, але й реалії, з якими стикаються іммігранти. Я була вражена, як автор сміливо розвіює міфи про ідеальність японського життя, наводячи приклади з власного досвіду. Книга сповнена цікавих спостережень, які змушують задуматися про культурні відмінності та виклики, з якими стикаються не лише іноземці, але й самі японці. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться Японією, адже вона дає можливість поглянути на цю країну з нової, більш реалістичної перспективи. Чудовий стиль написання та відвертість автора роблять читання приємним і захоплюючим!
