The ancient capital is in danger from everywhere. Glaciation drives crowds of refugees from all over the Urtican Empire to the walls of Villjamur. As soon as the legendary Night Guard went on a campaign, the anarchist underground intensified, turning into a force with which the newly-crowned Emperor Urtica was forced to reckon. Bloodthirsty and ruthless aliens from other dimensions are shedding seas of blood, seizing more and more territories of the empire and approaching Villjamur. To counter the rebels entrenched in the lower regions of the city, Emperor Urtica orders the organization of a group of defenders endowed with superpowers - the Knights of Villjamur. Rumel investigator Fulkrom is called upon to coordinate their work. His task becomes seriously complicated when he realizes that he is attached to one of the Knights... Meanwhile, the priest Ulric arrives in Villjamur. Studying ancient texts, he discovered that the true history of the creation of the world and man was fundamentally at odds with official dogmas.
