The third volume of the collected works of Jorge Luis Borges (1899–1986) includes works created by him in the 1970s. These are books of poems and miniatures, “The Gold of Tigers,” “The Hidden Rose,” “The Iron Coin,” and “The Story of the Night,” collections of short stories, “Brody’s Message,” and “The Book of Sand,” as well as lectures, prefaces, and essays. Particularly noteworthy is the Book of Fictional Creatures compiled by X. L. Borges - a genuine compendium of mythological characters from various countries and eras.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
