A man disappears in one of the Samaria settlements. Alex Tharn's new novel takes place in search of this lost hero. Among his characters are a Slavic philologist, a retired Soviet officer who now sells weapons, a Jerusalem girl-proofreader, a half-mad old man, a former prisoner of the Gulag... Each of them moves towards the solution in his own way, building bridges to the truth with the help of the living tissue of his own loving, a suffering, crippled soul. The paper version of the novel was published in the Jerusalem Journal, No. 36, 2010.
