“Explanatory Typikon” is an explanatory summary of the church charter, compiled by professor of the Kyiv Theological Academy Mikhail Skaballanovich. The author tried to give the Typikon primarily a historical interpretation due to his conviction that “history is the best teacher, and the deepest interpretation of the Typikon will be its historical interpretation.” The text of the Explanatory Typikon contains Greek quotations with full diacritics and requires a full Unicode font containing this Unicode slice (such as Arial Unicode MS, Palatino Linotype). In curly brackets like c. №№ - numbering of original pages, placed at the beginning of each page according to the publication. “Explanatory Typikon. Explanatory presentation of the Typikon. With a historical introduction. Ed. Sretensky Monastery, M., 2004. The text is the second part of the Explanatory Typikon, including the 2nd and 3rd chapters of the book by M. Skaballanovich.

Автор, професор Михайло Скабалланович, вдало поєднує історичний контекст із детальним поясненням церковного статуту, що робить цю книгу не лише корисною для священнослужителів, але й для всіх, хто цікавиться релігійними традиціями. Історичне тлумачення, яке пропонує автор, допомагає читачеві краще зрозуміти еволюцію церковних практик та їх значення в сучасному світі. Хоча переклад тексту з оригіналу за допомогою штучного інтелекту має деякі недоліки, загалом він залишається зрозумілим і доступним.
