“Explanatory Typikon” is an explanatory summary of the church charter, compiled by professor of the Kyiv Theological Academy Mikhail Skaballanovich. The author tried to give the Typikon primarily a historical interpretation due to his conviction that “history is the best teacher, and the deepest interpretation of the Typikon will be its historical interpretation.” The text of the Explanatory Typikon contains Greek quotations with full diacritics and requires a full Unicode font containing this Unicode slice (such as Arial Unicode MS, Palatino Linotype).
