Книга "Король франків" є справжнім відкриттям для всіх, хто цікавиться історією Франції та її монархії. Автор майстерно зобразив епоху Гуго Капета, показуючи не лише політичні інтриги, а й людські стосунки, які формували цей період. Читачі можуть відчути атмосферу того часу, коли влада короля була лише титулом, а справжня сила була в руках васалів. Роман наповнений динамічними подіями, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю історії. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто хоче зануритися в світ середньовічної Франції та дізнатися більше про її королівську династію. Це не просто роман, а й цінне джерело знань про історію!
