Sting (real name Gordon Matthew Sumner) is a singer, musician, father of six children and a fighter for saving the Amazon forests. While studying at the Northern Counties Catholic Teachers' College, he began to study music. He worked as a primary school teacher and played with different groups. In 1978 he became the lead singer of The Police and recorded their first album. His contribution to music allowed Sting to take an honorable place in the rock “hall of fame” and receive the title of Lord from the queen. Sting's work is known and loved by millions of people around the world. But few know him as a noble and modest public figure who promotes the preservation of nature and the health of children. The book was written by the musician himself on the eve of his fiftieth birthday as a summation of some life results.
