Money is a powerful tool of civilization, and its importance in this capacity is constantly increasing. From a means of exchange and accumulation of wealth, they have become the most important governing force of the modern world. The book is dedicated, first of all, to electronic money and electronic money circulation. Considering the historical path of development of money, the author shows the inevitability of the arrival of these new monetary forms and traces the possible political consequences of the modern revolution in the field of money. These are excerpts from the science fiction story “How We Flew to Neptune.” The story, through the eyes of a six-year-old child, describes a journey to a distant planet. Little “Why” asks about various things that he sees and tells us about life in the twenty-third century, when man entered the vastness of the solar system. These passages talk about the monetary system of the future. The story was written in 1981 at the early dawn of monetary electronicization with the advent of microprocessors and personal computers. What seemed like fantasy for twenty years is now becoming reality before our eyes.
