To date, Richard Woodman has written about two dozen works, including fourteen volumes in the series about Nathaniel Drinkwater and a book about the Trinity House naval service, “Guardians of the Sea.” He also wrote “The History of a Ship,” various studies about the Second World War, the Arctic and Maltese convoys, as well as a fascinating history of frigate warfare during the French Revolution, “Warriors of the Sea.” Woodman became addicted to sailing from childhood.
