Роман "Цукровий павільйон" від Розалінди Лейкер вразив мене своєю глибиною та емоційною насиченістю. Історія Софі Делькур, дочки паризького кондитера, розкриває не лише її боротьбу за виживання в умовах революційного хаосу, але й показує, як важливо не втрачати надію та вірити у свої сили. Авторка майстерно передає атмосферу епохи, детально описуючи життя аристократів та їхні стосунки, а також перипетії, з якими стикається головна героїня. Я захоплювався її рішучістю та прагненням створити щось велике, незважаючи на всі труднощі. Крім того, роман сповнений романтики, адже історія кохання між Софі та Томом Фоксхіллом додає ще більше інтриги та емоцій. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовим сюжетом та глибокими персонажами. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами романтики та пригод!
